I'm an experienced lifestyle writer, editor and content creator specialising in food, wine and travel.
I was features editor at Qantas Magazine for five years before moving to the Hunter Valley and have been freelancing since for a range of titles, including Qantas, Donna Hay Magazine, Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide, SMH Good Food and Pub Food Guides, and the Newcastle Herald. Also edited the Hunter Valley Magazine & Visitor Guide and wrote monthly blog content for the Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association.
I worked as a writer, sub-editor and food sub-editor on a wide range of titles over the years, including House & Garden, AWW Cookbooks, Sydney Eats, Jetstar, The Australian Worker, Sydney Where and Family Circle, as well as editing Mode Brides Magazine, Accor Traveller Magazine and luxury watch magazine Hourglass.

I am a former sports editor of several Sydney metropolitan tabloid newspapers, including The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mirror and Sun-Herald and editor of the Parramatta Advertiser.

I have branched out in recent years into wine and feature writing. My work has appeared in Gourmet Traveller Wine magazine, WineState magazine, House & Garden magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Sun-Herald, The Daily Mirror and London's Sunday Telegraph.

After moving back home to the Hunter, I edited the Maitland Mercury, Cessnock Advertiser and Dungog Chronicle until July 2021 and now freelance for the Newcastle Herald.
