This is one of those wines that holds a special place in my heart - you know, old favourites that don't break the bank and you've happily pigged out on over the years. We all have them. For me, let's think - Allandale chardonnay, Jim Barry Watervale riesling, Margan shiraz, Stonier pinot noir, Brokenwood semillon and so on. And that's just off the top of my head. Anyway, this gets a start with that lot. Sub $20 with loads of bold flavours. Meaty McLaren Vale with loads of fruity oomph. For $18. A steal.
